		<description>I saw his last show there and was pleasantly surprised. I had seen his work reproduced on announcements and in ads but in person it has a much more honest quality, it is more evident that there is a lot of experimenting and searching going on in his process. Also it should be noted that these new paintings (at least the larger ones) were made totally from above, by pouring and dripping paint, using cake decorating tips for details. He really has created a deep and meaningful (if not totally strange) world in his work over the years...plus he&#039;s a nice guy, which doesn&#039;t hurt</description>
