The text in this blog post is confusing and contradicts itself. I saw this show, and it was good, the color was very powerful - the compositions were bold and used both the illusion of space and the flat space of the canvas well. The show was hung very dramatically, with unframed canvas hung unpredictably over the wall in the front room farthest from the door. I don't know too much about the artist, but I am guessing that they are young, the work was full of energy and radiated optimism despite some of the images being rather grim and disturbing upon closer inspection. I was actually working freelance installing a show at Stellan Holm Gallery about 5 doors down, and walked into Zach Feuer while they were hanging this show. I asked whose show it was, and the lady at the desk said something like "ass chicken," so I said back, "ass chicken?" They said "No, Dah sha shisss Kin."
