Swedish artist Leif Holmstrand’s oeuvre is filled with crocheted and knitted sculptures, terrifying performances, washing line installations and dangling babies. He also writes excellent poetry- an artist and writer who puts Malmo on the Sweden Maps and in the very near future on the world map!

Someone definitely slipped a heavy amount of LSD into Mark Silipo’s orange juice, when he was a kid. He is the crazy Australian behind Magic Sweater. Mark’s illustrations make your eyes bulge and stomach turn. They feel like Heavy Metal hallucinations of a Cosby sweater come to life. He’s got it all from pimply monsters getting castrated to 90′s memorabilia.

If you haven’t seen Pieter Hugo’s work before, get ready to be completely blown away. Unaltered, straightforward, and as raw as it gets, these images send shivers down my spine, and give me hope that I can still be captivated/inspired/amazed/appalled by a photograph.
