Photographer Kyle Cook

kyle cook hanna_smokeKyle Cook describes himself as “a whimsical boy of magical nature.”  His photographs seem to mostly feature his friends and lovers (even down to showcasing a dirty stain on his boxers.)  I like the youthful nature of his work.

    I think these are excellent photographs. The artist almost creates a fantasy world, they seem really other-worldy to me. They remind me of the work of Gregory Crewdson, who I adore! The colours of the photographs seem manipulated because they are so vibrant and work together beautifully.
