Michael Clinard photography

Michael Clinard is one of the many, many, many talented creative minds that make up the Beautiful/Decay creative community. Michael didn’t ask to be posted on the blog and didn’t submit his work. I found his site while reading a comment he left on one of our blog posts. Lucky for me (and you) Michael happens to be a brilliant photographer whose photographs are smart, playful, and conceptual all at once.Hope this makes up for the auto play video Michael!

Fintan Macgee’s work is an interesting mix of street art and installation. My favorite works are the ones featuring the piles of both painted and real trash bags. When I lived in NYC I used to always take photos of the piles of trash that show up in Manhattan at the end of the day. I figured I’d do something with the images one day but apparently Fintan beat me to the punch.

They form an ensemble that the conductor, harpsichordist and composer Michael Petermann, alias weiserrausch.de, has now completed after eight years of preparation: The Stupid Orchestra.
