SIMON OUWERKERK’S Morphing sculptures Made out of Action figures

Simon Ouwerkerk’s dense sculptures are floating masses of plastic children toys and action figures that come together like Voltron to create something completely anew. Morphing, flying, and swirling in swarms, these piles of plastic are always in flux with a futuristic destination unknown.

    This is interesting work.
I’ve been working in found objects for a while, and have started to see some moderate success. However, I alter the things I find; from simple dry-brushing to complete modification before inclusion in a project.
I’ve submitted to “Beautiful Decay” three times! I have work on display with André Robillard, am profiled on Horror News, and have an forthcoming magazine article.
    So what next?
I started showing my work to the world in January as part of a study for school, and found: I like success!
I’m not being patronizing at all, I would generally like advice.
    Thanks!
