3D superhero The Sicksystems (also known as Moscow-based artist Aske) has just updated his portfolio with some awesome new work, both personal and commissioned. The Sicksystems is near and dear to our hearts, as he has designed multiple t-shirts for B/D Apparel, including Brick by Brick and Masters of Disaster. To celebrate the launch of our latest Spring 2010 apparel line, we organized a weekend fashion shoot, on our very own rooftop of the B/D offices here in beautiful downtown LA. The result was our Spring 2010 lookbook, which has been getting some great reviews amongst our fellow bloggers! So, we’ve decided to round them up here and send some of the love back for all the great things they’ve been saying. Check out some quotes after the jump!

Local LA boys & fellow apparel faves The Hundreds called our line “intriguing and provocative,” while our friend David Thai over at Killahbeez (and photographer extraordinaire hismelf) called it “obvious pop cultural references” with a “humorous twist.” My fellow Manc Andy (that’s a Brit from the region of Manchester, btw) from Hide Your Arms said it was a “simple equation for awesomeness” and apparently is still enjoying his Skwak T-shirt from B/D. Other international press came from our friend Luca over at the Italian design firm Big Chief, Mark from Mashkulture, and for an in-depth discussion, check out Paul’s review over at Buy-Tees.
