Scott Campbell (AKA Scott C) is a comic book artist, illustrator, and art director for Double Fine Productions. And, quite frankly, his work is adorable.
You need to see only one Scott C illustration to realize that he certainly has a flair for the comical. His work is immediately charming and intricate without being too busy. In March, Scott had a solo show called “Home Slice” with Gallery Nucleus. He came up with the idea of showcasing cutaway homes, allowing viewers to peek into the lives of his quirky characters–some of which include sushi chillin’ in a crab-shaped house, sailors break dancing in a whale-shaped submarine, and Victorian old-timey folks eating pizza and blowing bubbles in a giant cloud.
