Clever? I’m not sure I agree… It kind of makes no sense, conceptually. And from a visual standpoint, I’d say it’s a cheap imitation of some much better work by people like this guy Spacesick (http://www.flickr.com/photos/spacesick/sets/72157614482499746/) who actually are doing something clever with their subject matter. I’ve seen this “vintage book cover” aesthetic being carbon-copied to the Nth over the last year or so… and I’d call this project the death rattle of that trend. I like some of her other work on Flickr, but this just doesn’t stand out to me, and is entirely unoriginal.

I’d just rather see you guys stick to the cutting edge, rather than the caboose.
