An amazing project taken on by two groups/individuals which I very much revere: Champagne Valentine & Aaron Meyers (responsible for YouCube)’ latest collaborative creation uses augmented reality (and a QR code which you download and print out) to create a virtual musical instrument. Augmented reality to date has been mainly designed for marketing, social purposes, amusement, or location-based information, but new ones continue to appear as the technology becomes more popular.
We all need to embrace AR, as this will be mainstream technology in the next five years. It is all going to be about the content though! Chris Brookfield
