Artist Rafael López-Bosch trancends the typical negative undertones of politically-charged art and instead opts to present political and cultural questions to each viewer with whimsy. I think that by doing so he relates more closely to our individual humanity and helps us find more personal connections with each other as we face such questions. Rafael’s show, titled The good times are killing me (Los buenos tiempos me matan) is a combination of drawings and mixed-media installations and is on display, through September at the Fucarés Art Gallery in Madrid, Spain.
