@L
are you kidding me?? maybe a slight influence but defs not a rip off…….
I think they are part of the same “family” of painting but I don’t think they are copies or rip offs. It’s just a certain genre of painting that works with that subject matter. It’s like saying todd schorr, Robert Williams, and Ron English are copying one another.
good work… but yeah, try to be more original.
everyone DOES know art is influence right? and many artists near pay tribute to those whove influenced them. look at frank frazetta and his following artists. others like freud and bacon, even picasso. -yes, seemingly similar. and i would assume for obvious reasons, but this guy is 23 yrs old with much time to expand. who knows what will become of it/transform. i wouldnt say a “rip off”, i think thats almost bitter sounding. but absolutely of the same realm and genre

“HOLY SHIT, 2 ARTIST WHO ARE SIMILAR TO ONE ANOTHER”…well, obviously hes doing something right while having you so concerned.
Wow! @ RBP and L- be open minded! ..influenced, tribute YES!
but ……rip off- sounds a little …I don’t know- bitter I think….RSB and L- if you are artists then you would know what is what….true artists grow with every stroke, see with other artists eyes and are a community to themselves….without bitter and harsh obvious judgement!
wow – ok, for sure similarities, but dont disregard influence. i read this kids a self taught oil painter,.. says something for sure. – and youthful too, who knows where the works headed.
i follow him a bit, love his shit. check out these last 2 pieces, like with in the last week.

Good to see that not everyone is as closed minded and somewhat bitter as a few,(one bad apple and all). Art and it’s interpretation as well as it appreciation is as different as we are. Not everyone will like, dislike, love or hate the same piece exactly the same. Have an open mind and allow the influences to render the new and younger artists..Thankful for that!
