Laurel Roth, bay-area based artist and all around swell gal, executes her thoughtful, labor intensive works throughout a vast array of mediums. Each one as impressive as the last, and nothing short of mind blowing. I’ve been fortunate enough to see her work in person a few times and visit the studio where it all comes from. As for upcoming endeavors, Laurel and Andy Diaz Hope will be doing a show together at Schroeder Romero and Shredder Gallery in NY in October, She’ll be showing with Megumi Ogita Gallery in Tokyo in June, and will also have work in “Craft Futures:40 Under 40″ at the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum in 2012.
