Phil Hansen’s artwork is fun and unique. Thanks to him, news tabloids just got a little bit more interesting with a series of interpretive pieces from his new series, Art Happenings. Hansen is “… interested in trying to understand whole individuals and whole ideas through the fragmentsof perceptual memory, the sound bites, and the semiotic tokens collected by society and recollected by the individual. From collage to film, Aaron Maurer is one talented guy. Aaron hails from the frozen tundra of the Midwest. After growing up in Minneapolis, MN, he headed East to attend Rhode Island School of Design, where he majored in film and animation. He now lives and works in New York… in a cave.
HUH. Magazine is a new free zine coming out of the UK. The color newsprint showcases some pretty neat art and photography from all around the world. You can find the dope zine in bookshops and galleries in London, NYC, Stockholm, Paris, and Chicago. Plus if you order it online, all you need to pay is postage. Pretty legit.
