Dictaphone Parcel is an animation based on a sound recorded with a dictaphone travelling secretly inside a parcel. As the hidden recorder travels through the global mail system, from London to Helsinki, it captures the unexpected. We hear a mixture of abstract sounds, various types of transport and even discussions between the mail workers. The animation visualizes this journey by creating an imaginary documentary. In the future buildings will crumble and burn, graffiti will warn about the end of the world, drugs will be rampant, creepy guys with black eyes will lurk in the dark, and skinny european bgirls with airbrushed t-shirts will roam earth. Oh and faint electronic music will be the soundtrack to our lives.
Comsume, eat, shit, sleep, pollute, violate, pillage, destroy, and repeat.

If you were ever a fan of Powell Peralta in the 80’s and 90’s then you know that Rodney Mullen was the king of freestyle skating. Hands down he was one of the most skilled skaters inventing tricks that left viewers scratching there heads in disbelief. Freestyle skating doesn’t get much hype these days but Kilian Martin is taking the torch and bringing freestyle back with a vengence. I don’t even know if there are names for half the tricks in the above vid! Amazing.
