We are really enjoying Nolan Hendrickson’s recent work. They remind me of the dirty side of city life – but through a colorful, and naive window. The bold colors remind me of electrical signs that pollute the city at night. But the style of which Nolan approaches these paintings are so fun and dreamlike that it feels like I am experiencing these environments as a child.

I am transfixed to Jason Matthew Vivona’s dense, psychedelic portfolio of work. There is just so much going on! At first glance I thought I saw a parade of body organs, but upon closer inspection, I noticed beautiful works of intricate detailing, patterns, colors, etc. It’s kind of difficult to imagine this is all from tea, wine, coffee, or whatever Jason was drinking at the time. I wonder what he is drinking right now…

London based artist Issac Cordal created a series of small (but very interesting) installations titled, Cement Eclipses. Through this series, Issac explores the relationship between urban spaces and humans slowly becoming part of its furniture. Cement Eclipses started in 2006 as a nomad project, but its photographs were later realized around 2009.
