Last week we had a contest where you were asked to write a clever sentence using our sponsors name “Sticker Robot.” We got a lot of fun entries but after going through all of them we picked this lucky winner:  Hey Sticker Robot, I’m a stickler for stickers and know how to pick um, and unlike stamps there’s no need to lick um. Bam!

Congrats to Felisha Gonzales who will be getting a massive grab bag with copies of Beautiful/Decay Book 2Book 3, and Book 4, 3 Beautiful/Decay t-shirts, and a limited edition Fudge Factory Comics sticker pack by Travis Millard!

Stay tuned for future contests by signing up for our email list!

We know that everyone’s favorite price is free and so we decided to team up with our good friends at Sticker Robot to bring you the easiest and most fun way to win an entire box of free stuff!

How do you get this massive box of free goods do you ask? Well it’s about as easy as it gets. All you have to do is use “Sticker Robot”  in a sentence. Make sure to visit the Sticker Robot site to see what they are all about (They’re giving away 500 free stickers with every order this week!) and then craft the perfect sentence. The best, most creative, and funniest sentence wins. It’s that simple folks, just write a kick ass sentence and get a box of goods just in time for the holidays!

Make sure to submit your sentence by this Friday (November 26th) by midnight, write your submission in the comments area of this post, and keep your sentence under 100 words. On Monday we’ll announce the winner!

Here’s what the winner gets:

Beautiful/Decay Book 2, Book 3, and Book 4

3 Beautiful/Decay t-shirts

A limited edition Fudge Factory Comics sticker pack by Travis Millard

So get out your ink and quills and draft up the ultimate sentence. May the best cult member win!

*Due to logistics this contest is only available for our US readers.

The final interview in our 10-part “Art Works Every Time” series is with artist Ben Tegel.  We’ve actually collaborated with Ben extensively, as he has also designed for Beautiful/Decay Apparel, contributing the shirt graphics for the “Manson”“Greetings from LA.”, and “Greetings from N.Y.C.” shirts. Can’t believe the opening is already tomorrow- hope to see all of you out there, it’s gonna be a great night!

EricShaw

Eric Shaw creates fractal-filled cosmic psychedelic drawings and paintings that takes both abstraction and figuration to strange, surreal new levels. We’ve actually had the pleasure of doing an in-depth interview with him on the B/D site last year, so it was great to catch up with him! Just a few days away ’til “Art Works Every Time,” and we can’t wait!

Emilio Satoyo's Studio

Emilio Santoyo creates a whimsical world where “tall boy” beer cozies playfully detail delicate, children’s illustrations style giraffes and back-yard bbqs are filled with cut-off short wearing, mustache-wielding heshers. We are so excited to see the works he created specially for the “Art Works Every Time” exhibition, opening just a few days away this Saturday, June 12! Check out his full interview after the jump.

DSCN1995Say hello to Harrison Roberts. Harrison stopped by our offices to drop off his work for the upcoming Art Works Every Time exhibit. He was a bit flushed and out of breath – having lugged his pieces, many of them quite large, up several flights of stairs on a muggy Los Angeles afternoon – and then we made him pose for our camera! I’ve been admiring his collection of 2 and 3-dimensional works. They speak so boldly from afar but I can’t help inspecting them from very close in order to take in all the unexpected details; his concoctions speak equally well – albeit with altered voices – from both perspectives. You can see Harrison’s complete collection next Saturday, June 12th, at the Art Works Every Time opening reception at L.A.’s Synchronicity Gallery. Thanks Harrison!
