Cassie Ramone’s Notes From the Road
Cassie Ramone is most recognized as the front woman and lead axe shredder of the Brooklyn based lo-fi garage rockers the Vivian Girls. She is also perpetually working on and exhibiting new drawings, paintings, t-shirts, and zines. “Shitty Reality’” is an ongoing tour diary of sorts that is chock full of her endearing interpretations of popular cartoons, notes and scrawlings from the road, and various snap shots and collages from hours spent traveling the contiguous United States of America.
Daniel St. George’s Collage Pop
Daniel St. George is a fine artist living in Brooklyn, NY who has steadily amassed a body of work that is equal parts entertaining, eclectic, and engrossing. St. George blends elements of collage, printmaking, painting, and drawing to create clever inverted representations of classic cartoon and pop icons; often placed into dynamic interaction with a found paperback leaf or music score in a personal, methodical context that is all his own.
James Esber: You, Me, and Everybody Else
James Esber, a New York based artist, will be featured at the Pierogi Gallery in his new show: You, Me, and Everybody Else. James is known for addressing, through his work, the notions of distortion and perception. Colorful, incredibly wacky, but always engaging. Plain Air
Los Angeles-based Apenest, a publishing/ printmaking project created by Cody Hoyt and Brian Willmont, presents Plain Air. Plain Air is the second in their series of exhibitions focused on showcasing talented emerging artists at Cinders Gallery in Brooklyn, NY. Looking through Brooklyn-based artist Steven Ketchum’s illustrations is like watching half of a television show interrupted by an unfocused screen. The figures in his drawings seem confused….either by themselves or each other.

Living and working from Brooklyn, Glen Baldridge is a witty artist who enjoys working on satirical concepts through the use of a variety of mediums that include printmaking and sculpture.
Ryan Peltier
Currently Brooklyn based, Ryan Peltier is a talented illustrator who is currently earning his Masters at the School of Visual Arts. He has been featured in publications such as 3×3, American Illustration, and has won awards from the Society of Illustration Los Angeles. His work has been exhibited at BRIC in Brooklyn, and the Tinlark and Billy Shire Fine Arts in Los Angeles.
Ryan’s process depends heavily on the kind of surface he is working on. He makes it a point to begin with beautiful materials that hold character. The outcome is a collection of illustrations with a whole lot of awkward humor, and delightful surrealism.
