I’m loving these sliced and diced fashion collages by fashion photographer Damien Blottiere. Each figure is layered and in motion as if a Cubist had turned into a stylist for some of the leading fashion publications in the world.

Neil Mota brings together the beauty of fashion photography and Pirates of The Caribbean costumes and accessories. This certainly is a tough task but Neil has managed to create an accomplished body of work that does it with ease.

She Is Frank mixes bizarre scenarios and bold retro sets to create captivating fashion photography. A personal favorite is the image above. Who doesn’t like to see beautiful images of models eating Chinese food with such vigor?

Dutch collaborators Carmen Freudenthal (photographer) and Elle Verhagen (stylist) have been working together since 1989. Their collaboration with fashion designers, performers and other artists results in a wide variety of work, which is always recognizable for its humorous approach of daily life and its use (and abuse) of contemporary imagery and (photo)graphic techniques.

It’s refreshing to see fashion photography that doesn’t look like your run of the mill fashion editorial. Bela Borsodi’s massive portfolio is full of playful and experimental photographs that walk the fine line between design, fashion, and art.

Akif Hakan’s photography portfolio is full of both personal and commercial fashion photography. He’s got many beautiful images on his site but the image above captured my eye. I love the optical effect of the hand disappearing behind the hair. Akif also has great series on glamour goths, urban fairies, and other bizarre fashionistas from around the world.

Julia galdo’s fashion photography is a colorful explosion of pattern, texture, and high contrast.
