Work by Philadelphia based artist and graphic designer Dustin Kemper.
Playful, sophisticated graphic design by Bergen. I love it, especially the use of color.
Moritz Resl is a graphic designer based in Vienna, Austria. A smart designer with a minimalistic style, Moritz does not pollute his work with a number of narrative imagery all sharing one composition and message. Instead, he communicates the concept of his work by creating just a single, simple image. For instance, based on this year’s World Cup event, Moritz created a poster featuring an impression of a torch (edit: vuvuzela! Even better! Thanks for noticing the error guys) by combining various world continents together, all sitting in a sea of blue. Smart, well-articulated, and aesthetically sound.
French artist Antoine Corbineau does a little of everything–painting, graphic design, video. Regardless of the media, his pieces “feel like carnivals or boardwalks, bursting with energy and life.” Corbineau’s organized chaos is achieved through bold injections of text and a bright but controlled color pallet.
Vilnius, Lithuania based artist Dziugas Valancauskas‘ work is a mix of creative typography and bold illustrations. His work explores different style: from clean, vectorized illustration, to more loose, handmade lines. Not only is he a graphic designer/illustrator, he also was the art director for a Suicide Dj’s video, Sea Boat.
San Francisco based Alex Cornell has a track record of pursued professions that makes most feel like underachievers; he is a graphic designer, musician, and dabbles in photography. These collection of posters are reminiscent of 40′s atomic bomb informational posters with a hint of contemporary influence. His organization of graphic elements is very clean and eye pleasing.
Robert Tirado describes his artworks as “consequence to the experience of traditional art techniques, which sometimes gives it a perfect balance between the particular look of digital work and the expression of real life painting” This up-and-coming artist explores an array of different mediums for his illustrations. AEI.UO is his new experimental project that puts together digital illustration, painting and graphic design, which intends to “break through with patterns in so-called digital art.” Tirado also has an upcoming solo show in Valencia, Spain at La Booktique Del Diseño on June 18th! So if you so just so happen to be in Spain on June 18th check it out! His work is definitely something I would want to check out in person.
Bologna based graphic design studio Emmaboshi has a brand new website touting some beautiful work. They have a talent for diffusing large amounts of information into interesting forms that become both desirable & accessible.
