Born into a long bloodline of creatives, illustrator Treasure Frey’s work of collage/ drawings is certainly something to watch for. Her work reminds me a lot of the awesome animations from Monty Python, except with the intricate combination of beautiful mark-making with varying line weights, loops, and brightly colored shapes, she has made a killer style of her own.

I recently stumbled upon this seriously amazing artist duo, Mildred & Pacolli. Their work is AWESOME! I love it. They recently had an exhibition at the Lower Haters gallery in San Francisco called WE ARE US. You should check out some of their work!
Jose Manuel Hortelano-Pi

Madrid based illustrator, Jose Manuel Hortelano-Pi, creates these wonderfully detailed pen and watercolor works. I for one especially enjoy his black and white drawings (like the above.)

Ivonne Dippmann’s unflattering, raw, and distorted drawings of hefty men in disguises is not what one would describe as “gorgeous.” But it is, maybe not right off the bat, but the obvious attention to the design and detail of shape, texture, and mark-making pulls these into one heck of a killer style of drawing.
