Yoko Ono needs no introduction. She is a well established art superstar and one of my personal favorites. Ono has a new video called “Make-Up Tips for Men” (made as part of her clothing line for Opening Ceremony). Over “uh-huh”s and a club beat, men are given commands like, “When you see a rainbow in the sky. Breathe it in,” or “Let everything in your room shine and sparkle.” Grooming be damned! (via)

Originally spotted via The Fox is Black, her portfolio is an eclectic mix of illustrative typography and design to art direction and styling, including several collaborations with photographer Magnus Anderson.
Evie Woltil Richner is a Florida based artist. She combines personal family photographs with feathery shroud like drawings creating a beautiful monument to memorialize family members that have passed on.
Hitoshi Kuriyama creates elaborate light installations using complex clusters of shattered fluorescent light bulbs. With Kuriyama, fluorescent lights and LEDs become life forces that animate the darkness of the universe with an irregular, unpredictable rhythm.
Ryan Schude is an advertising, editorial, and fine-art photographer from Los Angeles. According to the artist, his current hobbies appear to revolve around arbitrary vacations, stand-up comedy, dining out, and Future Islands. What Schude neglects to mention is that he has also been making spectacular photographic tableau images for years. Similar to a movie still, each photo is full of vivid characters, humor, action, and story.
Damon Casarez is a Los Angeles based photographer raised in suburban Diamond Bar, CA. In his recent series “Sweet Lolita”, Casarez covered the Dollyhouse Runway a “Lolita” based fashion show for Southern California Lolita fashion designers.
